Kristin's Story
In 2020, after two decades of helping thousands of patients rebuild their independence as an Occupational Therapist, my universe shifted with a breast cancer diagnosis.
Navigating mastectomy recovery firsthand, I realized how critical—and stressful—it is to protect post-surgical extraction tubes from painful dislodgement, loss of negative pressure, and infection.
That personal hurdle inspired The Drain Keeper: a simple, comfortable, and shower-safe device designed to easily drape like a scarf, securing tubes and bulbs so patients can maintain their safety, modesty, and independence during routine self-care.
This is designed for anyone managing surgical drains, catheters, or infusion devices. The Drain Keeper is here to protect your healing process and bring a silver lining to your recovery journey.
